Our Dental Team

Monica Bhardwaj (GDC Number 69042)
BDS FDS RCPS, M Clin Dent, MRD RCS

Monica qualified in 1993 from The Royal London Hospital. She also obtained the M Clin Dent from The Eastman Dental Institute and Monica’s fellowship and MRD are held from the Royal College of surgeons. Monica is both the principal dentist here at New Square Dental Practice and the practice owner. She has been here since 1999 and is dedicated to ensuring that the practice is set up to provide you with the best possible service. Monica is a prosthodontist, a specialist providing treatment in restorative dentistry, as well as enhancement and the replacement of teeth. This includes, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures and implants.  Monica is also able to offer clear braces using Invisalign.

Dr Harold Berry (GDC number 50646)
Dentist

Harold has been practicing dentistry for over 45 years and in that time he has built a dedicated and long-lasting patient base. Some of whom have described him as professional, courteous and charming. Harold prefers to follow a preventative treatment plan for his patients, so his approach to dentistry is to focus on what is the most beneficial treatment for the patient.

Fahd Saleh (GDC Number 81978)
Periodontist

Fahd qualified in 2003 from University of Glasgow. He developed a wide repertoire of clinical interests through various hospital posts and degrees. Fahd completed specialist training with distinction from Guys and St Thomas Hospital Trust and Kings College London and is currently clinical lead for periodontics in several award -winning practices.

Fahd is the recipient of numerous awards such as the Odontology Presidents Clinical Research Prize by the Royal Society of Medicine in relation to his work on antimicrobial peptides. He was also the recipient of the Ron Wilson research prize from Kings College London. In 2017, Fahd was named ‘Dentist of the Year’ in recognition for his clinical, educational and charitable activities.

Fahd accepts referrals for complex periodontal problems such as mobile teeth, gum pocketing, gum recession and implant based replacement of teeth. Fahd also provides all forms of dental treatment under sedation for anxious patients.

Carmen Balboa (GDC number 300352)
Hygienist

Carmen is an overseas Dentist and completed her dental training in Chile. Currently, she is the main hygienist at our practice and has been commended by patients for being very thorough and informative, whilst using a gentle and friendly approach. Her caring personality means she always puts patients interests first.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends.

Kim Russell (GDC number 108928)
Head Nurse

Kim is our head nurse with 35 years of experience. She has worked in numerous practices in Cambridgeshire and was a finalist in the Dental Nurse category for The Private Dentistry Awards 2022. Her advocacy is very much appreciated by all her patients. In her spare time, Kim enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with her family.

Laura is our lovely receptionist who greets every patient with a smile. She started at the practice as a patient and found that the practice was such a welcoming and relaxing environment that she joined our team. She has been with us since mid 2023 and is now a big part of our team here at New Square.

Monica is an accomplished and highly competent dentist. As a regular visitor, I have always appreciated Monica’s calm but confident manner as well as her patience with me as a nervous patient.
