Mouth cancer awareness month

November is mouth cancer awareness month. Here are three things to look out for that may be a sign of mouth cancer;

• Mouth ulcers that last longer than 3 weeks
• red or white patches in the mouth
• unusual lumps or swelling in the mouth head or neck

Mouth cancer can affect anyone and a quick check for these signs at home can take less than 1 minute. Look in the mirror for any signs in the mouth, tongue, lips, head or neck.
